JAAOS Global Research & Reviews (JAAOS Global) is the official open access, peer-reviewed international journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the global leader in orthopaedic surgical education. This new open access journal publishes review articles, research articles and clinical trials, surgical techniques, and case reports for the benefit of the orthopaedic research and practitioner community worldwide. While encouraging submissions from everywhere, JAAOS Global places a particular emphasis on content that originates outside the United States and Canada, or on articles that are of particular interest to the international orthopaedic community. JAAOS Global additionally gives special attention to submissions reporting the results of enterprising and novel research and pilot studies as well as locally developed clinical guidelines from scientists and clinicians in developing countries.
