Spine Open is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal directed to the audience of clinicians and scientists focused on the care of spinal disorders. The journal publishes original articles in the form of clinical and basic research as well as reviews. Spine Open will publish articles in the following domains: randomized trials, spinal deformity, clinical case series, cervical spine, surgery, diagnostics, health services research, epidemiology, biomechanics, anatomy, basic science, literature reviews, and case reports. Spine Open will only publish studies that have institutional review board (IRB) or similar ethics committee approval for human and animal studies and have strictly observed a sufficient follow-up period. With the exception of reference presentation, Spine Open requires that all manuscripts be prepared in accordance with the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals. We follow the COPE guidelines.
