JBI Evidence Synthesis publishes rigorous, high-quality evidence syntheses and related research that inform health care policy, practice and future research. The journal prioritises internationally relevant systematic and scoping review protocols, systematic reviews, living systematic reviews, studies within a review (SWARS), scoping reviews, and original research that advances evidence synthesis methods. It also publishes editorials, applied research and discussion papers on synthesis methods and the use of evidence in health care, with a focus on work that supports feasible, appropriate, meaningful and effective practice and policy to improve patient outcomes globally.
